Unit 9: How to Talk to AI (Prompt Engineering Lite)
If you’re not sure where to start, try using a prompt formula. Here are two that work across almost every department and task.
Framework 1: Role + Goal + Task + Format
This gives the AI the context it needs to deliver on your ask.
Example:
“You are a project manager. Your goal is to align the team. Create a kickoff meeting agenda using bullet points.”
Framework 2: Problem + Action + Output
This helps when you’re asking AI to solve something.
Example:
“I need help explaining AI to non-technical staff. Suggest 3 analogies that make the concept simple to understand.”
