Unit 9: How to Talk to AI (Prompt Engineering Lite)
A prompt is simply what you type or say to an AI to get a result. Think of it like giving instructions to a really smart intern who’s lightning-fast—but a little too literal.
If you say, “Tell me about dogs,” you’ll get a generic answer. But if you say, “Give me three key traits of golden retrievers for a pet adoption flyer,” you’ll get something much more useful and specific.
Just like with people, clear communication leads to better outcomes.
Example:
❌ Vague: “Write a summary.”
✅ Clear: “Summarize this 2-paragraph email in 3 bullet points for a team Slack update.”
